Perhaps this is too pragmatic, but here are my hesitations regarding the issue:1) It seems illogical and irrational to put people on airplanes and take them thousands of miles from their home, to a place where they know nobody, know not the language, nor possess the resources to succeed, when there are dozens of adjoining countries they could take refuge in. Further, isn't the idea that they'll return home once things are safe?2) I don't know how anyone ever trusts the federal government to do anything correctly, particularly this exceedingly incompetent administration, particularly on this issue, and as such have zero confidence that they'll properly screen any isis people. It seems like erring on the side of caution may be warranted under these circumstances. Send the other countries money if you want to help.
I think the US is probably the least likely place in the world for these people to end up being terrorists. Only issue is it's probably too easy for them to get guns if they decide to be gun terrorists.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning. They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

I would be worried that this country is proven to be a good incubator of radical Islam. I'm less worried about bad people getting in than I am about them becoming bad people once they are here.

Cfor3 is a good person. He loves the Royals and makes people think without being a dumbass. Gonna win 'em all!
So are we just going to pretend that the predominant religion of the current refugees is irrelevant?
Constantly talks about being religiously persecuted in America. Rejects war refugees because of their religion.

Other than that...

As has already been mentioned, at least 250 people have left the US to join ISIS. Additionally, there have been several attacks in the US linked to radical Islam (Ft Hood, Boston Marathon, Beltway Sniper) and many many more foiled attempts (Jose Padilla/dirty bomb, Iyman Faris, Virginia Jihad Network, etc). Really the list is too long to mention. At least 29 attempts since Bush's first term, most perpetrated by US citizens, many of whom were not born here.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_unsuccessful_terrorist_plots_in_the_United_States_post-9/11

KU is right on par with Notre Dame ... when it comes to adding additional conference revenue
