What makes these people different than the ones being murdered by Joseph Kony? Do we not have a moral obligation the help them as well?Where is the line that separates people we are morally obligated to help from the ones we aren't morally obligated to help?

People emigrate to the US every day from all over the globe.
Why is it our responsibility to bring them here? I'm cool with bringing the educated ones, FWIW. Doctors and engineers and folks like that. Just not folks that would be in the bottom third or fourth of wage earning potential.
