The appearance is whatever it is, IRL he has no idea who we recruit if they aren't related to him or another coach. He has absolutely no say or knowledge of what we do recruiting wise.

I mean, let's be honest....in 20 whatever years, he has won us a couple of conference titles. Yawn.

Quit being an bad person about Bill and what he has done. It's a shitty look. He's done amazing things for us obviously. I'm not D. Scott so I'm not going to rehash them. But, he is only a figurehead now and I think the product reflecting on him is unfair to him and the product not benefiting from having an actual HC in place isn't fair to the product. It's time for a change.

I agree, I just choose to vent in my own way. I'm done hearing about walk-ons, hand written notes, Taco Bell, chocolate chip cookies, Pinocchio, and all of that other bullshit. This staff has assembled a team of losers and thrown them into games with a bad gameplan. From time-to-time, teams like TCU will overlook us and play it close, but that's more on them than it is on us.

The thing is, it might be backfiring on him now.  The "plan" to have Sean take over.  He has made hints at Sean "doing it all" these days.  I think the plan has been to eventually say "it's been Sean the whole time."  Now, with the season in a spiral, he can no longer safely do this.

Well then that is even worse because that means the worker bees are just really bad at recruiting.

This comes across as a serious post, which is rare for you. Do you have any "can confirm" type stuff for this or are you reading between the lines like I've been the last couple of seasons? Whether Snyder is truly a figurehead now or not has been a mystery for me. Also interesting is when it might have began.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

I have over a billion posts of which most are serious. Snyder is a figurehead and has been since Snyder 2.0. This is fact, like everything I've ever posted in all over a billion posts I've posted. I'd have thought my record would speak for itself by now.

So, it's just a plan to keep his kid and some bros in a job?  Is there zero HC stuff going on, del and dana co-HC'ing, or is Sean actually doing HC stuff?

I'm too lazy to look for the Dimel is a fuckface thread so I'll just leave this here:

OU defensive end Matt Dimon on K-State's playcalling: "I am not a game planner but if you saw the game last week I would have run the ball."

And this was Bill post game about throwing the football so much: "That's what coaches thought we could do, so that's what we tried to do."

I'd be very surprised if there's a more dysfunctional coaching staff (and athletic department as it relates to football) structure than ours.

I kinda hope he dies in his sleep so that it's less awkward for everyone involved. Keeps his dignity.

Sadly, that's your true viewpoint. Pathetic

Well hey, at least someone asked Bill about the decision to throw it so much. So at least we have that accountability now.

I can't wait for the tell all book to be written in the coming years..........Bill slipping into dementia, Sean doing anything to protect his legacy, a culture of fear and deceit.

I predict that he will not be acting coach by end of season.   He knows now his recruiting (lack of) has failed him and his coordinators are hindering his plan to win and hand the program to Sean.  If he had contended for a confy he would have had a decent chance to get Sean in.  Now, Dimel and Miller are hurting Sean's chances.

So, Bill fakes an illness or pretends he is too tired to keep going, he installs Sean as interim just in time for the softer part of the schedule in hopes he wins some games then makes the push.

I would bet he takes much more control in the game going forward.   If his motivation is to set Sean up, doing anything different now would be giving up and would seem very unBill.  I bet he starts micro managing the offense, then tells everyone Sean made the diff.

This all assumes he still has full faculty and isn't coloring in his office right now.
