I mean, I get why they hate the Royals. What I mean more is its crazy that we're good enough to hate.

Yeah, I completely understand that some people might find us hateable, but if we were still winning 75 games no one would care. The hate comes with the antics and being one the best teams in baseball, which is really fun, but still unexpected and strange to experience.

I think Hosmer and Ventura would be pretty hateable if they played anywhere. But yeah, people absolutely hate the Royals because you're winning now and because people feel like you should still be hot garbage.

The hate for Royals fans are from people that have to be around Royals fans, you guys are annoying, just as Astros fans are annoying to people who live in Texas who are not Astros fans and people in New York who aren't Mets fans hate their fans too.

As far as the team, I'm going to guess most of the hate has mostly to do with Hosmer and to a lesser extent Ventura. I would assume you guys understand why. I don't mind Hosmer but if my team played in a playoff series against him and I was constantly subjected to seeing him mean mugging on camera for 3-7 games, I'd probally hate him too. It's the haircuts that are really hateable if you ask me.  Especially Hosmer.  I hated him for it when he was sucking.  It turns out he's a pretty good dude though, so I was wrong to hate him just because he was sucking at baseball for a while there.
