It is also really difficult to compare Scandanvian countries, which are culturally and ethnically quite homogeneous and relatively affluent (or were, until recently), to a country like the United States which has a bigger, more diverse population and is importing poverty by the millions, both legally and illegally. The projected costs of Bernie's proposed welfare programs are staggering.

As I aluded to, those Scandanaian nations now have an immigration problem of their own, and their generous welfare programs are stretched to the breaking point.
