Let's just be honest and admit we are in a weird situation here. Snyder can't be fired and his retirement is imminent, so it is questionable in the first place what good it even is at this point to "hold him accountable."
On top of that, no one can question Snyder's commitment to success in the field. If anything, he cares too much which is probably the main reason he is even still coaching. (I personally don't buy that Snyder is just sticking it out until Sean is HC because Bill himself said he'd prefer his son didn't become an HC for his own sake)
The only difference I can see it making is among our own players. Snyder owned up to basically not trusting our offense on fourth down in this case, which I think was the right response. I don't think it does anyone any good to say "yea, I don't know why we let Joe keep throwing it. That won't happen again."
