The Right to Loot
« on: October 09, 2015, 10:53:34 AM »
A blackmatters leader guy hired by Yale as a lecturer says looting is an acceptable means to protest and to express ones freedom of speech??????  Is this truly an acceptable thing?

I don't agree with that blackmatters leader guy unless you need, like, food or something.

It's ok to loot if you know with 100% certainty that the stuff you are looting is going to be ruined by a natural disaster within 30 minutes.

I think it's okay to loot some sweet Nike Air Jordan's.  As long as they're super sweet.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

As long as you are barefoot when you loot those sweet Air Jordans.  In that case, they become a necessity.

Same way that big screen is going to help you see the upcoming weather reports.

And you might as well listen in surround sound, on a new leather couch, while drinking some fine wine.

moreso than any other form of protest short of citizens acquiring missiles. The more recent ones (Ferguson, primarily) can start a national conversation that wouldn't have happened otherwise.

I recognize you can say that isn't really "getting crap done" and you aren't necessarily wrong.

In America, it's generally a felony (aggravated burglary, tresspass, etc.) to loot. So proceed at your own risk. Probably crosses the "peaceful" demonstration line afforded by the constitution (not clear how important this right is relative to others - will allow the psychopaths to advise).

No one has the right to steal or loot.  If the amish ever root and riot in Yoder my bud who owns a store will give them free lead.
