I've begun to submit resumes for job openings in the Bay Area. I plan to relocate there in the next few months. I want to devote a couple of months to finding some of the best tailgating locations around the stadium. I'll spend a minimum of six months getting to know some Stanford grads so that I can engage in some friendly rival banter before and after the game. I'd also like to develop my own Bay Area themed craft brew to share with my goEMAW buds at the tailgate. Not sure about the timeframe for that. I'll go ahead and Google that right now.

Hope you finally follow your dream of stand up comedy and have a few open mics under your belt before the big game. (Not THE Big Game, ha.)

I've never seen a more devoted fan. Upon the announcement of a non-conference road game, decides to relocate to scout out the best tailgating locations?! That's some kind of dedication!

A football field is 120 × 53.33 = 6400 square yards. There are 322 days until the game. So, if I began making a quilt that replicates the design of Stanford's entire football field, I'd need to average 20 square yards of quilt per day. That is totally doable.

i like the idea of a quilt but my would be to recreate ksu cats football field and the night before the game go out and lay it on top of the stanford field and they will be screwed.  it will give us a home quilt advantage

Thank you for your input. That's a very interesting suggestion. Unfortunately, I think we'll only have enough time to make one quilt for the game.

idea- make the quilt 2x as fast as planned, 49 sq yards per day
131 days per quilt

Idea:  use stretchy yarn or fabric.  Knit quit much smaller than the size of the field, and then stretch it to meet the size of the field at game time.  Also smaller quilt should be more portable.
