_fan gives out a educated/well thought response and then we get M^2 half ass lazy response wanting to bitch about the coaching staff, just by agreeing with the board. Beems was right, this board is mumped!

The coordinators were overconfident in his performance in the first half, so they they called a bunch of passes to start the 2nd half.  That's what you said.  We had the lead, we should have established the run and ran clock like every Snyder team has tried to do since he came back, especially when undermanned and playing a wide receiver at qb, of course the play calling was dumb.

I don't agree. They came out calling some simply routes on the 1st drive and Cook missed Davis open twice in a row. The 2nd drive they got a match up they wanted and Cook/Klein couldn't quite hook up on 1st down.

I think "dumb" is being conservative or calling plays that are really tough for the personnel to execute. After rewatching the first two drives they did not do that. Coming out with some zone reads or other run plays makes some sense and I don't disagree that there is sound logic to that, but I don't think there is one way and only one way to call a football game. I think they came out expecting to catch OSU off guard (which I think they did) but Cook couldn't make (arguably) easier throws than he was making in the first half. They came out wanting to get some drives going and put OSU away, it just didn't work out. I don't find a lot of fault in that. I refuse to make up any sort of anger over that because I can't.

I mean, all of the big 12 is asking how the eff we were still in this game, jealous of our coaching staff, but when in Rome (gE posters), blame the coaching staff.

OSU pass coverage is pretty weak. Trying to take advantage of it is not crazy.

Yeah, Morgan Burns constantly being in position and not making any play on the ball was maddening.

I have no idea why we played so much man. Specially with Rudolph struggling to read coverages in the UT game.

I'm sorry but I just don't agree that the play calling was good in the second half. Cook clearly is not a pocket passer. Why not continue to call plays that get him out of the pocket where he can throw or run like they did in the first half?  We had something good going but they changed it up and it failed miserably. They've done that multiple times this year. My apologies to SB.

Guys, the injuries are contageous.......add me to the list. :frown:

Was trying to get something loose at work today at 8:30, and my wrench slipped off and I punched myself with my fist/wrench in the right check/nose.  Thought for sure I broke my nose.  Ended up at the local clinic getting my gash glued shut and off to the hospital for face/nose xrays.  Don't know anything yet.  My face is swollen and my right eye is already turning black.

I just want to go home and go to bed..........my face hurts

I know on tv they said Heath was trying to get back in the game but that when he jumped up and down it appeared to cause pain.

I read from a reputable poster elsewhere that Cook was practicing yesterday, and said stinger.

He's healthy and they're still going to start Cement Shoes
The problem with playing Cook  exclusively at QB is we lose our best WR, especially if Heath can't play. JMHO.

Our wideouts can actually catch Cook's passes.. He is far above our best qb. We can get a new #1 WR
This.

Equal parts :D and :frown:

I can't take a grown man seriously that posts crap like this on the internet.  A grown man should be reluctant to let people see his toe, let alone posts pictures of it on the internet.  What a dork.

This isn't the guy I want negotiating for K-State if the crap hits the fan and we need a place at a power five conference.  (Same with Currie.)

why do you think its not one of his kids or his wife or the dog itself running that tweet tweet?
