And then they came for the Driver's License offices...
« on: October 01, 2015, 05:04:44 PM »
Alabama requires a state issued photo ID to vote, now closing DL offices and every single county that is more than 75% black will lose its DL office.

Voting Rights Act removed right on time.

Each county issues voter id cards at the Board of Registrars office.   Sounds like  PITA to be able to drive though.

Be quiet, there's no such thing as voter fraud.

Thanks Luke. Edna already whined about this this morning. Good news is that you can still register to vote and get a free voter ID in every county.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

The voting issue aside, which doesn't seem like a legitimate concern, Alabama has fallen on hard times if it can't even afford to keep one DMV open per county. Wow.

What part of the ability to register and obtain a free voter ID in every county didn't you get? This story pertains to driver's licenses.
