Assuming Delton gets a medical redshirt, it means our QB's next year will be as follows: Senior, Junior, Sophomore, Freshman, Redshirting.

Hell, IF Ertz is able to return, we could even redshirt Delton again next year. This would put him and Thompson as freshman when Banks is a senior and Ertz is a junior.

You can't redshirt someone twice. If Delton is given a medical redshirt, which in all likelihood he will if these rumors are true, the only way he would be able to get another redshirt is if he were to get hurt again and missed a significant majority of time.

I'm 90% sure they can redshirt in addition to a medical.

Eh as long as Hubener stays healthy this will have no effect on the season. Besides I've been team Banks since day 1.

This would be the equivalent of Hubener getting hurt last year, or #LIFE getting hurt during Klein's senior year. Kinda sucks for the player, but not really all that important in terms of season wins and losses. Also we all know Snyder under the circumstance of already losing one QB won't let Hubener miss a start unless his legs fall off, so it's not like Delton was going to see meaningful snaps anyway.
