I can't imagine any of the Lib candidates catching a football. I like a person who respects American sports in the white house.

Is he running for president? Last I heard he hadn't entered the race.

If you watched the video you would know so did Marco Rubio.

Nope, I have never complained about that. Was actually one of his few redeeming qualities for me. I usually didn't like how he underestimated the cats and the BIGXII and he rarely made risky picks on his bracket. Seemed pretty weak sauce to me.

That's a better reason than 1/3 of these dumbass republicans voting for a reality TV star who bankrupts companies to avoid paying bills, spends most of his time demeaning women, and has no policy views at all.

I sincerely hope he oversteps himself tonight and finally loses his audience in the debate. But, we all know that it is in CNN's best interest to make Trump look good during the debate. So all hope of that is lost. I just need Rubio to have a good debate to get his numbers up.

I'm gonna regret asking this but why is it in CNN's best interest to make Trump look good?

Ratings. If Trump surges in the polls they will have plenty to cover for the next year on his shenanigans alone.

That, and the fact that they want to give the liberal nominee the candidate least likely to win the general.

CNN doesn't care that he wins.  Just that he is in the race.  For example, they would probably benefit more from him doing poorly tonight, but ending the night by calling Carly a rat faced bitch, than if he does well and behaves.

The thing is, with Trump's base, him doing well includes calling Carly a rat faced bitch.

I think there is a better chance that Dr. Carson looks like he knows what to do with his hands than the Donald deciding to behave.

The debate has three moderators. Hugh Hewitt is brilliant and I would choose him to moderate every debate if I could. Jake Tapper is an excellent, fair reporter (right up there with Ed Henry). I don't know who the third moderator is, but I'm guessing she's a more typical MSM liberal. Still, 2 out of 3 is not bad at all.

The problem will not be moderators but the format. Putting 11 candidates on the same stage is stupid. CNN has tried to compensate by making the debate nearly three hours long, but that doesn't change the fact that you can't engage in a meaningful debate among 11 friggin' people. The canididates will not be afforded the time to all address the same issues, let alone the same questions, which doesn't allow for meaningful comparison. They could have broken the candidates into 3 randomly selected pools of 4 candidates and given them each an hour and gotten a far better result.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.
