He didn't, I remember looking at who came out to start and Danzel wasn't out there.

Dave Lewis called McDaniel's name for a tackle but he was mistaken, Danzel was dressed but suspended.

I am very concerned about our defense if Barnett is out for a substantial amount of time.

I was thinking maybe dislocated shoulder for Barnett.

That's worst case scenario. I'm holding out hope that it was just a stinger.

I think it was a stinger. When you dislocate your shoulder, your arm just dangles. He had his arm bent 90 degrees as he came off the field.

It definitely appeared worse than Water's shoulder injury last year that hampered him all season. I would guess it's probably a separated shoulder and not a dislocated shoulder or stinger, but I have absolutely no credible knowledge.

No. Separated shoulder would have needed support to get off the field. He was able to hold the arm against his body and needed no support from his other arm.

Dislocated shoulder.

Collar bone breaks are extremely painful and also require support for transport. He jogged off.

You can just pop the shoulder back in place right? They're not quite as weird as knees.

I have no idea on injuries

That's what they did with my shoulder when it popped out. Doesn't feel very good for a long while. I can still pop mine half out, 22 years later.

I dislocated a shoulder in a rollover accident. They put me under in ER to put it back in place. Sometimes if it's not severe, it will pop back in on its own. I think that may have happened here if it was indeed a dislocation, because you don't see them reduce it.

An athlete should recover from a non-severe dislocation quickly. Although tackling with that shoulder may be problematic.

Mine happened during a football game. The trainer put their foot in my armpit, my wrist in their armpit, grabbed my elbow and yanked. Didn't tackle anyone for two weeks and hurt like a bitch when I did the first time.

I was worried about collar bone, but hopefully that is not the case.

Two years ago Zimmermann played with a jacked shoulder.  I hope we keep him out until OSu, which would give a month to heal.

It wasn't a collarbone.  He would have been holding his arm otherwise.

1. Anybody have any info on Barnett (there is thread title on gopowercat saying "Good news on Boston and Barnett")? I think losing Barnett could be as bad as (or worse than) losing Ertz.

2. Brewer was holding his arm just like Barnett was, which makes me doubt those that said that you don't hold your arm like that if you break your collarbone.
