I never order them for myself but if my kids have extras (especially for Chik-fil-A), I eat them without hesitation or shame.

Edit: do you make a distinction here between chicken nuggets and chicken tenders?

Some people (on this board!) think it’s ok for a grown man to order nuggets.

Acceptable?  Yes.  Deserving of ridicule?  Also yes.

I would argue that a grown man ordering tenders is somehow worse

DQ chicken strip basket is a man's meal.

If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

I prefer chicken tenders over chicken nuggets

It’s okay as long as you don’t call them “boneless wings”

Fine for when convenience is much more important than quality.

If driving through a fast-food place and they have them a la carte as like 5-8 for $1-3, I'll sometimes get them as a side instead of fries.

Chicken tenders as a main are completely fine and at times recommended at bars with limited food options and/or that food is just a thing to go with the booze while you're watching games for hours.

With the mcdonalds app, you can get a free ten piece every day.  Can't afford NOT to eat them at that price!!

It's not any worse than ordering anything else at a fast food place.

I eat about one of these per year.

I order this just for the gravy and dip everything in the gravy - tendies, fries and Texas toast. (x-post trash-canning).

Yes. I always got 2 tubs of gravy and then loaded up every bite with as much gravy as possible.  Which sounds gluttonous but I don't eat ice cream so I always gave the sundae away to someone else or changed it to just a normal drink if I was alone so not quite as gluttonous as it could have been.
