It was 102 degrees at 1 a.m. last night in the 'ta.

We almost got stranded in Century II storm shelter after ziplining around riverfest just now.

Amazing article about 15 random people who survived the tornado in a walk in cooler at a gas station. If you dont like reading the youtube video in the middle is worth it on its own, dude took 5 minutes of audio of everyone while they were inside the cooler.

Man that's terrifying. There's another video of some people in a different gas station. Can't imagine going through that.

On second though, that may be the same video and/or same gas station

My grandma lives in Eskridge and we called to check in on her last night and she was shaky. She said for the first time in her life she saw RED lightning. She said it was something else, like red flames shooting from the sky.  :sdeek:

Is Harveyville even a real town or just a grain elevator that shows up on maps sometimes

1: it was at night
2: radar cupulet last for only one scan
3: Tornado was on the ground for 4 minutes

Before they even had a chance to see the next scan the tornado had lifted.

A very strong storm system is about to move into the western parts of Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas. Tornadoes, very large hail and straight line winds are a good bet today for this area. This storm system is moving slowly and by Friday it will the be Central third of Kansas, Oklahoma and North Central Texas turn. Once again the tri-fecta of severe weather will be likely including some strong long-track tornadoes. Saturday is the big show. Things are setting up for a major outbreak over central and eastern Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas. This one could be bad.

Now if morning storms and cloud cover hold on longer than forecasted and lessen the heating over these areas then it may not be as bad but Severe weather is look likely this weekend.

Flooding will be a real threat as well with storms going over the same place multiple days.
RIP Fatty
