Blue ticks are great dogs if you can handle their insane need to bark at everything. This dog doesn't bark nearly as much as others though. I had a black and tan that was quiet for maybe 10 minutes a day.

I haven't tried the water with this dog yet, she's still conquering her fear of plastic bags...

In 81 I took my blue tick to the vet in council grove to get fixed.when I went to get her they said she had opened the cage door and then escaped out of a window that was 5 feet off the floor! The next day they called and said she just came walking thru the front door.I never really questioned it,was just glad she returned.

other people's dogs are mostly horrible.  most people have no idea how to train a dog.  either that or they're too lazy to try.  something.

most people don't know how to train dogs because they spend all of their attention on what the dog is doing "wrong." usually, the dog owner needs to be trained more than the dog itself.

I'm starting to get too close to this  puppy. I don't know if I can foster that much. I mean, I really wanna keep the dog now and it's going to some old lady in Topeka.  :frown: He needs to be with kids. He'll be too energetic for her.

dogs actually don't like kids that much, wacky.  and they're really good for old people.  the puppy and old woman will be very happy together.
