What if he only throws one touchdown pass? Can we retroactive it? What about swapping Bank's Redshirt with Delton so they can be half-sophomore/half-freshman?

FTR, I was referring to him competing for the starting spot. I'll be pissed if he plays mop up duty always and loses his redshirt for it

No real surprises, which I view as a great thing.  Unless, of course, half of those guys are hurt and that fact isn't reflected in the depth chart.

To me, the only quasi-surprise is Prewitt over Newlan....I was thinking that was going to go the other way.

I'll admit that I am in the category of redshirt ignorance. A quick google search didn't help much and I am still unsure. Does a player have to be declared a redshirt before the seasons starts for it to count as a redshirt? Thanks!

no. it's a simple matter of "did you play or not?"

the medical redshirt is where it can get complicated.
