Some personal news

Layoffs are an unfortunate part of the journalism business and they're now part of my reality.

This will be my last week at Fox Sports Southwest.

I've loved my time here and I'm thankful for the opportunity to research and write the kinds of stories I got into this business to tell. I'm just as thankful for the opportunity to do TV, which I never saw myself doing.

I'm grateful to those who fought to keep this from happening but understanding of the financial realities that brought it about.

It's been a great two years and I'm looking forward to whatever comes next.

He left ESPN for that opp at fox sports.  Lot's of ppl are leaving espn for pay raises. Looks like fox sports had to cut back tho.
