Shipyard Pumpkin Head is awesome.

Also, the Official Liquor Store of goEMAW.com is Nespor's.

I heard that the employees there tell customers that they drink douchey beer right to their face. No thanks, not worth the PI'ing.

Were they in fact drinking douchey beers?

You'd have to ask them.

A friend brought me some Boulevard Pale and I forgot how much I enjoyed it. It's a great summery beer for people who enjoy the hops.

I agree michcat, it's my favorite!

80 acre is decent. A nice refreshing beer, but it doesn't have a solid identity. Not hoppy enough for a pale ale, not smooth enough for a wheat.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

Went to the fridge and got a mix and match 6 pack with a few different Pumpkin beers, and a 6 pack of Modus Hoperandi. I will report back my findings.

Which pumpkin beers?  I wasn't a fan of the buffalo bill's pumpkin ale, but surprisingly enjoyed the shocktop pumpkin wheat.

Also, Modus is fantastic.

EMAWMeister pointed out the Boulder Beer Company's pale ale to me yesterday*.  Came in cans, was pretty average.  Decent beer, but there are several pale ale's I would get before getting that one again.

*EMAWMeister hadn't tried it, just said it was new.

Why?  It wasn't bad.  I will happily drink the three I have left tonight or tomorrow.  I would rather drink it than several other beers, should I rate it an A+ too?

Bud lt lime is one of the douchiest beers known to man.  If you're drinking with me and you order a BLM or an Ultra, expect some serious ass PI, IRL.  Thats right, and I'll say it right to your fat face, right in front of your fat little GF.  A buddy once sent back a Sad Adams Summer (not a great beer, but not terrible either) and ordered an Ultra instead.  rough ridin' embarrassed the crap out of me.

I tried the Saranac pumpkin ale, Saranac octoberfest, and the Modus Hoperandi tonight, my first time for all three.

The pumpkin Ale left a lot to be desired, it had almost no pumpkin taste that I was expecting. Very Clovey still a decent drink but not what I was expecting.

I can't complain about the octoberfest, very smooth, tasty, but nothing special.

The Modus Hoperandi, So bitter it should come with a warning label. I really liked it, but I don't think it's for everyone, my brother took a sip of it and thought it was horrible.

I still have a Buffalo Bill's Pumpkin Ale, a Boulder Beer Hazed an Infused, and an Odell 90 Shilling Ale to try tomorow.

Not to be douchey, but there are a lot of beers that are significantly more bitter than Modus Hoperandi. Not so much in the midwest, but on the coasts. Just a heads up.

I'm pretty new to the Micro Brew world, so I'm sure there are, But it was definatly the most bitter beer I have had so far.
Also I'm not quite 21 yet so I have a hard time branching out very far.
