IPA's, it's like hey guise let's figure out how to really max the hop.  I want people taking a sip and to be blasted out they chair!  WHOOO THAT'S HOPPY!

 :dubious:

sounds like someone is a bitch.

Could be.  I feel the same way about super spicy food.  It's like geez, after so much spice it's just uncomfortable and what's the point?  I like a little burn and a little sweat but why should I be gargling a milkshake just to pound out these Buffalo Wild Wings?

Also, more beers should put cute little text underneath the bottle cap.  It makes me drink more of them I swear.  What will it say next?  Time to find out!

I love tasting all kinds of beer.  Hoppy beers tend to be the kind of beer my pallet gets excited about the most.

I happen to like IPAs a bit but there is a limit to the hoppiness. No need for a pallet burnout on the first beer.

I think we all know where you stand with IPAs.

i like about half the ipas i have and don't care for the other half. citrusy (big time foodie word), hoppy beers are my favorite. you know what's gross? anytime someone tries to make a smokey beer. just gross.

you can have both here. no reason that they need to be exclusive.

I went pretty hard last night (for me).

Stone: Matt's Burning Rosids
Odell: Myrcenary Double IPA
Stone: Enjoy By 04.20.14
Oskar Blues: Dale's Pale Ale
Sierra Nevada: Harvest Single Hop IPA (w/Yakima #291)

I enjoyed them all.  04.20.14 and Burning Rosids were amazing.  I would drink all again.
Kansas City Blue Barbecue fan.

not sure if it's been mentioned, but lagunitas undercover is a great beer.

a lot of lagunitas stuff is not distinguishable from a lot of their other stuff to me. same with stone. I like most stuff from both breweries but how many different IPAs do you need? shitloads apparently. absolutely shitloads.

For the past 5 or 6 years I've been a bit of a beer nerd. Craft beers of all kinds, light, dark, hoppy, malty. But now I've really found myself drifting towards Coors Originals more often than not. I've usually got some craftier stuff in the fridge but my hand always reaches for the yellabellies. I'm confused about what this says about my beer drinking habits.

FWIW, doesn't really apply to bars. Unless, of course they have Coors Original, which is rare. Then it's CO more often than not.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

We're thinking about getting rid of all our beers and just doing a lineup of Lagers from here on out. Let us know your thoughts.
