I just learned 2 nights ago that the "stars and bars" isn't the racist flag featured on the Dukes of Hazzard's General Lee roof and at SC capitol buildings and on Mississippi's current rough ridin' state flag itself like I'd thought, but rather the CSA's initial attempt at a national flag that they had to discard because it was too much of a rip-off from the USA flag.

To me, Country Stampede was never about country music, and for that reason, I kind of feel sorry for a college kid that never experiences it.
