I used to get nose bleeds frequently. I think I passed it on to my kids, as they get them, too. Toddlerdobber is already able to get out of bed and make it to the bathroom and not drop any blood on the carpet along the way. I guess it might be the one bad gene I have.
My suggestion (what the doctor told me when I was young) is to put polysporin on a Q-tip and rub it around the inside of your nose before you go to bed. The Doc told me that my blood vessels were too close to the surface in my nose and dry environment and sneezing from hay fever (2nd bad gene?) were causing the blood vessels to get brittle and then break. The polysporin will help the blood vessels stay soft and also help the inside of your nose stay moist.
Side note- I was really expecting this thread to be about ljmhawk.
