Sounds like Darth Doo-Doo is terrorizing rich Aspen and suburbs across America. Just read a drudge article about a very bad poop piling on a popular path in Aspen - guess cleaning up rover loafs is above the rich.  Then I googled this whole subject; dang people all over are pissed - almost to a boiling point.  Maybe dog turd riots are coming.  Is it really a bad problem in cities and suburbs?  Renodog, rest his bark, had 40 acres to use.   Most cities have minisule fines that a rich dude would laugh at.  Is there a social service agency for dogs?

I was actually going to start a thread with that picture but forgot about it. It is the first flower of spring in my yard and I'm sure PW will agree it is the most meaningful and beautiful photo ever taken.

After some cursory research, I now believe this to be the "blue eyed grass" flower.

10 million tons of dog crap annually. 4% of the wastes going into landfills is dog grunt.  40% of dog owners do not pick up dog loafs.  In January, Bartelme Park in Chicago was the scene where kids came home covered in dog crap after sledding.  Most poop scoop laws wil not fine a person with a seeing eye dog, this is unfair - most dogs make a straining noise when pinching a loaf.  Also dog dung is not very compositable and no one knows what to do with it.
