Shouldn't the field crown be like a strip instead of island? I think water is self leveling
Not sure if optical illusion, but it looks like there are air pockets 'neath those islands.
I figured they used some sort of adhesive to keep turf down, but u may be right.
even real turf can bubble. Next time I see it on a green, I will try to remember to post a picture.

I think they grow greens on sandy sandy soil. Plus they don't have adhesive for sure
