I have that one too, but its too small now so I just ordered the New Era version. I like the New Era hat I posted above and it fits well, but I wanted one more like the official one, but in an old guy, low profile, curvable bill version.

True, I meant the low profile, curved combo. Curving the bill of a high profile hat meant to be flat billed looks ridiculous. IMO.

I do appreciate that MLB recognizes this and sells both versions in authentic hats. I got the stretch fit version because I like it better and $10 less was nice.

The worst part about being a k state fan is every k state hat sucks big time

Tried to buy one today. They all sucked.

hat hunting is usually pretty bad because you're like well this one isn't bad and then you turn it around and there's a bunch of extra crap on the back or side that make it looks ridiculous. it's like oh wow all this extra room lets fill it up w/ a bunch of crap and our company logo and then more crap.

Yes, I feel the same way. I hate the high profile (on myself). Feels like a gigantic puffy thing sticking out.

Bought 2 kc hats like that a few years ago, wore them both once.

The hat game is for the young, just accept and move to free hats from vendors

I made the same mistake once when flat bill/high profile first became popular (again). I won't let it happen again.

I have very little hair, but I still often go hatless. I have to be careful not to get some ridiculous tan line, so I try to at least go hat on, hat off every other day when I'm outside a lot.

Fan have you looked at the away style hat? I like it better than the all blue.

I'm partial to the all blue. It's grown on me some, but I've never been a big fan of 2 tone hats. I do like the grey road 2 tone over the alternate white.

The hat is nice and keeps your head cool. Plus its an authentic batcats hat.

I also have a royals world series hat that i don't like to wear. But its nice.

Ditto in the hair department.  I'll sometimes wear a hat if i don't have time to shower that morning before class.

Also, I wear the flat bill royals cap to royals games.

I feel like I have like 20 hats but i hate them all (including 4 kstate hats that all suck) except that Royals '47 one...it fits well.  I have one of those KC Baldwin hats but they got too douchey...they were probably always douchey.

Franchise hats are the GOAT as far as hats are concerned imo. I guess the 47 hats are the new version of the franchise ones, but they aren't really the same to me.
