I like D Scott, but I don't believe this is the way to go about it. He's obviously seeking attention through this bump in the road.

i'll be the first to admit that i laughed at the philly cheese throwing, because it was undeniably funny, and because i've thrown the proverbial philly a time or seven in the past - although fortunately not in the direction of a police officer.

but now, the guy admits he has an alcohol problem - and does so publicly, while conceding his vulnerability - and this is the way some of you respond?

d scott is a lifelong k-state supporter, has covered the teams for a decade plus, and has rarely passed judgment on others while maintaining an impossibly rosy life outlook despite our society becoming more negative and more cynical with each passing day. and now, on the heels of his greatest public shame, after admitting his weakness, he's getting mocked and ridiculed.

again, full transparency: i laughed at the philly throwing. it was funny.

but now? far less so.

FML for being captain easy stance. 

I get what you're saying, but I feel like his focus should be on recovery and not Twitter.

i know not everyone here loves dscott (although I do, for the same reasons j rake mentioned).  but, aside from dscott maybe having a problem with alcohol, this whole episode is funny.  plain and simple.  i mean, dscott live tweeting rehab.  you can't make that stuff up.
