i was putting some fire sauce on a crunchwrap from t-bell the other day and i crossed the center line and thought, man this is pretty dangerous.

how dangerous is your driving?

i'm great on interstate and a total hazard everywhere else. it's because i listen to podcasts or books on long drives but during short drives i text/email/reddit/snapchat/twitter/clash/bbs as much as possible.

On my bike I almost purposely tapped on the window of a lady texting in her car as she passed me in the bike lane. would have slowed me down though.

i don't plan it, i just have a pathetic attention span and if npr/bbc doesn't draw me in immediately then i check social media.

I don't have time to do all the other things at times when I am not driving. I'm a pretty good multitasker so it's still pretty safe.

When I drive into work at 4:30am there is absolutely no on on the road. There are 5 traffic lights between my house and the interstate and I treat them all like 4 way stop signs.

Its quite the rush to roll up on a red light, make a quick check for other cars, then blast right through it.

Other than that I am a great driver!

I got a ticket for doing this in Manhattan in the early 90's. About 5 am on a Saturday morning, heading to an out of town rugby game. I figured the cop would just check to see if I was drunk and then laugh and give me a warning, but no! Probably rick's dad or uncle.

The other day I saw a guy driving down the road steering with his knee with a huge map unfolded in front of his face, trying to scrutinize it. I pulled up next to him, took a picture and texted it to my buds. They all thought it was hilarious. Very Griswold-esque.
