There's a real life place in omaha that does this. It's like dollar beers and terrible cheap food and it's like the only place in nebraska that you can still smoke at (or was when I went like 5 years ago). It's delightful and the clientele is exactly what you'd imagine they'd be.

i think i've been when i was a kid. also, i went to a horse track once when i was like 9 with my family somewhere in canada. my parents got the betting program and my sister and i (through my parents) put bets on horses all night long. was a blast. i mean i'm 9 and i'm betting on horses somewhere in canada. how is that not hilarious fun for a third grader?

Rick, my parents took me to the tracks when I was 6 in Texas. I told dad to bet on the number 6 horse and he said "Ok son, will do!". So as you could imagine, my eyes were peeled for the next race. Next thing they're off and running and wouldn't you know it, number 6 took the lead early. It was a close race, but number 6 never lost the lead throughout the race and #6 was victorious! Of course, I was jumping around in excitement, high fiving my bro and thinking I just made a fortune for my family. I look over at dad and he looks sad. I'm like: "Dad, what's wrong, we won!!!" He said: "Sorry son, I should have listened to you, I bet on #5 and we're done making bets for the day".  :frown:

back up to over a hundred. how do i do it you ask? well i have a system. it's called bet on funny american named horses who are racing outside of the USA. like last night it was australia and barney rubble paid out 25:1. it's pretty much like taking shrimp (candy) from the barbie (baby) with this system.

So, are these races going on pretty much non-stop 24/7, or are there only certain time frames with action?

pretty much 24/7 i think, although i'm not really sure and i bet there are some times of the day where there probably aren't races. it gets kind of fun when they're doing different tracks at the same time instead of just race after race after race from the same track because all of the sudden they'll go from like chariot racing on dirt in france to some grass track in australia with bushes the horses have to jump over. all in all it's quite a hoot. i spend at least an hour or two a week on there, usually while also watching a royals game.

rick daris, do you actually get to collect real money ever, or is that a horse ( :Keke: ) of a different color?

No, I am a special someone who makes me uncomfortable - INTJ.  We are very rare and most people don't know how to deal with us.

It's a relatively low rollover, 12X or something.    Like if you deposit 200 you get a 250 bonus but it gets released at 10% of the wager.

Is a racing program available or are you just picking these things blind?

I've made like four hundred bets through the thing so I'm pretty sure I could collect my $47 in actual real American dollars if I wanted. am I going to though? that would be a big fat H to the E to the double LL NO!  :Woot:
