I heard some guy on some radio show - Laura Ingrahm maybe, it was a guest host - say that he's a trump supporter because "he's a big strong man" and "he's going to protect us from the republicans." The host asked if it bothered him that trump is basically a democrat on many issues. Pause. "No." Then back to the "strong" thing.

This seems like a perfect representation of trump's base, except for leaving out immigration. The GOP should be worried that about a third of its typical base rough ridin' hate the GOP.

Just had a great segment about how conservative voters aren't very smart when it comes to the ins and outs of politics they don't understand much and most conservatives are much more anti left than pro right and that's why trump is doing so well
