And I am being frugal because it's taco Tuesday and tacos are on sale. Still $2.25, but still.

wait so you have to make it?  why didn't you jump down daris's ass about his 4 pizzas?

I think leftovers are ok because you didn't buy it just for that meal.

looks amazing though. its hard to have good feelings about gutting a bowl of soggy vegetable scraps when someone is posting pictures of delicious tacos. lengua?

you should never feel good about eating slop

you feel pretty good when you are pushing the limits of the above listed rating factors.

It was also a pretty far walk from the office (which is why I think the mail guy thought he could get away with slamming a cold one and not running into any coworkers)

i don't have pictures from today but i have a huge #lunchack

i picked up a pound of burnt ends from q39 yesterday afternoon and brought them home.  i doused them with gates hot & spicy sauce and refrigerated them.  today, at lunch, i put 65% of the pound of them onto a plate and microwaved them for 45 seconds.  then i ate them.  next, i put the remaining 35% pound onto my plate but this time i only microwaved them for 30 seconds.  pretty weird, eh?  yup, 4.33 seconds per ounce for round 1, 5.36 seconds per ounce in round 2.   shockingly, the burnt ends in round 2 which ran 1.03 seconds per ounce longer than the burnt ends in round 1 were noticeably not as hot as the round 1 burnt ends.

bermuda triangle?  probably.

were they placed in exactly the same spot in your microwave? many microwaves have a variety of hot spots and cool spots

well, i forgot to add a little #lunchack nugget.  i didn't have any side items with my protein bomb lunchack.
if i had fries or chips or potato salad to go with them, i prob wouldn't have gotten them all down (yes i would have b/c they're so good)

well, my microwave has a platter that goes around in a circle when it's running so i guess it just mumped your hot/cool spots theorem right in the ass.

did you go home to make your sandwich, bring an already made sandwich, or bring ingredients for just-in-time assembly?

I don't think the heat:time ratio is linear

Already made. I got a lot of veggies this weekend at the market and with OT available, I barely ever leave for lunch anymore. 30 minute lunches ftw.

fairly low. did 'clams go there just to buy burnt ends for the next day or was he aready there eating and then picked up extra for the next day? he can pick up some efficiency points here

What was the density of each of the piles? (more or less spread out?)
What was the proximity of the each pile to the center of the microwave (i.e. circling around the center or just rotating right on the center)
How long did each stay in the microwave after the cook time had ended?

A lot of variables that haven't been accounted for in the initial assessment.
