I understand and appreciate that perspective. I've just been attending since I could afford to have tickets.  And anyone who knows me knows that I have a really competitive spirit, so I hate seeing what happened last year.  I'm not a grad of KSU, but have been a fan since childhood.  Some consider us less than true fans, but that's for another thread another time. 
Every game is a break for me from the usual stresses that everyone faces.  If I can spend a few bucks and a few hours with friends at the brams, I take advantage of it. 
Again, I understand your perspective.  I just have my approach to it.

imo, townieborn are the highest form of fans.  much truer than mere graduates.
