It feels like there's been a fair number of times in chat when "lol sandstorm" has been chat'd this season.

Nothing we beat this one, Pullen game!!!!

GOAT

Bill Self sent his team out on the court early out of that timeout huddle and they were broken.

If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

this isn't the first time sandstorm got shitcanned because of the eff ku chant

Really? I did not know that. When/for how long?

It was after the exact one linked above, Valentine's Day 2011. It wasn't played the rest of the season. My season tickets were in front of the parents of a classy cat and we played OU the next home game and the dad of the classy cat said "no more fist pumping." I guess the band and classy cats were told sandstorm was gone. It was gone the rest of that season, pretty sure this is when they started playing joker and the thief but they played it in game instead of pre-tip. I'm relatively certain that sandstorm was gone for all or most of the 11-12 season as well. That 11-12 season is definitely when they started playing joker and the thief pre tip to replace 2 unlimited because the students were also swearing during that song.

i like it when the students start swearing  and then the old lady looks at her husband like she's not smiling but you can tell she's kind of smiling and the swearing is funny to her

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

"Start Wearing Purple" would be a good song to play once every other game  in my opinion.

I am laughing right now because I am trying to figure out where we would put the F*** KU chant in.

eff anyone who's not wearing purple, wearing purple
eff anyone who's not wearing purple for me now
TCU thou.
Hot time in Kat town tonight.

I am disappointed we didn't Thunderstruck the hawks, that might be the only thing anywhere as close to enjoyable as Sandstormm when Bill calls a timeout

FWIW, the students were chanting  eff KU to any song they could at the KU game.
