He doesn't really come off super awkward in person. He's pleasant and has a ton of energy but he can't help but come off calculating. Its fine because it makes him a good ad and basically the opposite of what we've come to expect at ksu.

I think it's worth noting that this thread was easily derailed when it's intention was to talk about Currie being a stud. What does that mean? Well, I'm not really sure, but I feel confident that it means something.

What's funny about the Doug Compton situation is that it's pretty well documented about how much the dude hangs around the team and travels with the team etc. etc. etc. Yet there are actually ku people who believe there couldn't possibly be any rule breaking issues, when everyone with a clue knows the guy is essentially ku's version of Sam Gilbert. Props to ku basketball

Let's fix this thread... Somebody (a mod) needs to mod the crap out of it by moving (moderating) all the posts with links to panoramic shots into the "No T-Shirt... No DVD..." thread.

Then, a transcript of Currie's "WE are the flagship" (6 straight in football, 3 of last 5 in hoops, largest undergrad enrollment, etc) speech needs to be posted in this thread for discussion.

With the way things are currently, it looks like we are just resting on our past back-to-back-to-back BBS natty's...
