So what kind of due diligence did Scott do the last year? Apparently he had lots on numbers to run by Texas and its south cohorts, but he was also willing to unleash this crap storm without looking (or knowing full well) at what other offers would be forthcoming?

Odd, especially considers that Texas/Oklahoma and Left Coast was always kind of a weird cultural match.

Amazing power play by Univesity of Texas. They played everyone in the Big12 and the media like a frickin fiddle. More Money? Check. Less schools to share it with? Check. Their own network? Check. Big12 schools realizing who their daddy is? Double Check.
