Schulz: We haven't really looked at anything yet, and that's not president-speak for, "We have something worked out and we just don't want to say anything about it."  We really have focused our energies on making sure we keep the Big 12 conference as intact as practically possible.  It's all in the Central time zone, we can drive to many of the venues, it's a great conference for us, and we really don't want to see some of that stuff go.

I heard right when I got on, you guys were talking about the missed class time, three time zones worth of travel, and all that.  I still think schools need to look really carefully at that, otherwise a year from now somebody figures out, "Wow, the golf team is missing three days of class just to do a conference golf event."  Those kinds of things, we really have to look at hard, and I hope people will before making a decision to move.

you won't even be able to have a fracking golf team you fracking idiot.

By the way, Austin radio is absolutely blasting A&M on their potential move to the SEC. They appear pretty desperate to not have the SEC be able to recruit the state. They're throwing out some really, really bad arguments, and it's pretty transparent that they're shilling for UT. I really think it's in A&M's best interest to go to the SEC...
