It's like a weight has been lifted off our collective shoulders.  No more wasting weekends watching football and getting 'paked.  (Pun intended.)  Now, I can spend all weekend catching up on chores around the house, this is going to boost my productivity significantly.

We're gonna be in San Diego/Vegas/some elite locale for the weekend following a thursday night football pak.  Saturdays will be for watching multiple big-time football games at a local hotspot.

Why not just stay in the Big 12 with our automatic BCS bid?  Iowa State and Baylor can't be that tough to beat.  Maybe we could use the BCS status to gather some more members.

We're gonna be in San Diego/Vegas/some elite locale for the weekend following a thursday night football pak.  Saturdays will be for watching multiple big-time football games at a local hotspot.

Kinda sucks though, having to take every Thursday and Friday off for like 3 months.

In truth, Dan Beebe COULD turn this around and try and poach other schools to fill the ones that are obviously going to leave us.  

For example, Louisville and Cincy could both be looking....pair that with select teams from the MWC and MAC, and I suppose we could be close to holding on to a BCS bid.


We'd almost be better off just approaching the MWC right now and asking if they'll take us.....lock in our spot.  They have 9 now, and adding Boise State takes them to 10.  I'd hate to miss out on them moving to 12.

In this scenario, KU will be looking too, so we may as well round it off at 12.
