Personal feelings here, but if Beems is right (I know, it would be a first) but I really wouldn't be all that disappointed. KU would join the Pac-10/Big12 superconference and immediately become the tiniest fish in the pond (even KU's basketball tradition isn't as prestigious in a conference with UCLA, Arizona, Cal, Washington etc. compared to the Big 12) and KSU could join a new souped up MWC. In this format no smaller conference school are cherry picked so the MWC (or possibly even C-USA) has the ability to step up as a BCS conference with the right mix of schools and KSU would become one of the top dogs in that conference.
