I forgot to add, nothing says "we're keeping our options open" like voting for a $50 million dollar exit fee.
So again, how did Clemson, FSU, VT, GT vote?
Do you think we mumped up at some point in the past? Remember when FSU and Clemson threw a big hissy fit when the ACC wanted to raise the exit fee from $20M to $34M? Or is that discussion so stupid that it's off limits?
No . . . but as I type this, I don't know all the details.
But can't help but be a little saracastic here. Did John Swofford (sp?) pass a note pad around the table and with "$50 million dollar buyout, sign below" on top, and Clemson, FSU, VT, GT fought over who was going to sign first?
Come on, in the talks with Notre Dame that had to come up within the existing ACC schools, and Clemson and FSU, based on what is being reported right now, apparently agreed to it. For what, another million a year? Come on man, something ain't right, or they never had any intention of leaving the ACC.
