The other piece of this is the Big East's deal with ESPN. If ESPN reopens the negotiations with the ACC for Notre Dame (and they have to), this probably means taking money from the Big East and giving it to the ACC, which also probably means the chances of Big East football and basketball landing on different networks (i.e. NBC, NBC Sports Network) goes up.
This could mean that ESPN would be willing to overpay for a school or two (UConn, Louisville, Rutgers, etc.) to put them onto our platform.
They big, big key here is how much money we'll lose from a split in revenue. ESPN and Fox can prevent that in Tier 1/Tier 2. ESPN can most likely prevent that with the Champions Bowl and Bowl game tie in money.
Basically, this could be a domino in ESPN's way of trying to kill the Big East because they know that the Big East doesn't want to play in their sandbox any more.
