Clemson and florida state are not joining our league. Good grief.

I think that they will definitely flirt with us, in an attempt to get the SEC to drop their stupid "no more from the same states" rule.

Basically, like how every NHL franchise that has ever wanted a new arena would make a big production out of visiting the Sprint Center so they could leverage a new building back home.

They're still in contract talks with the networks for more money.  So it helps to have a few football schools in the conference.

Yeah, but then they will be stuck in some shitty non-AQ conference on the east coast in a few years. The MWC is the better football conference, and the system is already set up to get them into BCS games fairly easily.

As Pan noted, the BCS auto AQ conference will go away and be replaced.  Heard they will have a four team playoff with the top BCS ranked teams.  To be played at the top two teams home stadiums.  The only BCS bowl would be the championship game.

It would be two great additions to the Big XII...think of the recuiting opportunities and nice geographical footprint.  Now if we can get ND's AD, we'll be that much closer to making this dream come true.  Of course Louisville will join in a heartbeat, but ND is the bell of the ball.  We could end up as the strongest conference in D1 football, or a least equal to the SEC.  Time will tell.
