Also, iirc, didn't he say that there are two or three teams in conf against more than 10teams, and that no one wants 14?  Did I just imagine that?  I caught BITB's recap and seem to remember him sayng that.

I may be splitting hairs here, but what I heard the commish say was you could put the idea of 4 16 team conferences away, not the idea of a 16 team conference. 

I mean, I see no way the SEC stays at 14,  a 16 team conference with pods is so much more preferable.  I believe the SEC will go to 16 and really want VT and UNC.  UNC will never do it but NCSU will.
