I could see a scenario where we would require them to meet a very stringent set of criteria in terms of facilities, athletic programs fielded, etc. for them to be considered.

However, again, I only see that as a scenario that comes into play if we consider going beyond twelve teams.

After sleeping on it, in the end, this may end up being a not-so-horrible thing.  It's not good, but it's not the end-of-the-world.

CU and MU were always wanting out of our conference going back to the Big 8 days, NU was a bunch of whiny hypocrites, and A&M is certifiably crazy.

Maybe now, if we can get some new members that actually dig being here, we may end up with something as good, in a different way, as what we originally had.

I think twelve is good for now.  If the Pac-12 and Big Ten are good with it, we probably can/should be too.

Although, logistics would be all sorts of f'd up.  Provo,UT is 2,000 miles from Morgantown.
