It has nothing to do with selling or marketing TCU. It has everything to do with selling K-State in the most important recruiting state in the conference. Why do you think Missouri does so well in Texas recruiting, why did we do pretty good back when we were good. Yes, the most important thing was that we were good, and two, we played the hell out of telling kids who were good players but not quite good enough for the big Texas schools that they'll have multiple chances for their revenge. I'll take legit 3 star Texas kids all day and twice on Sunday.

We now have the 6 core teams that we will have to build our new conference around. TCU is definitely good for us.

it's not hard to tell which way dax will go on different matters. he's is pro across the board or anti across the board. examples below.

pro currie and athletic dept
anti frank martin
anti ksu golf

this has to do with the athletic dept so you knew dax would be for it.

which makes me think byu is still in the fold. go after the sure fire yes while the confy is still in limbo. its obviously more secure with tcu, which will help a byu yes,

TCU just shifts even more power to TX. Obviously, member schools have taken issue with said power strangle hold. See Nebraska, Colorado, A&M, Mizzou, OU, OSU.

Conference decisions are made by simple majority. Unless we add some northern allies, TCU does nothing more than bolster UT and TX power in this conference.

TCU is perfectly acceptable if we expand to 12 and balance out the South power with two Northern schools (Louisville and BYU, for instance).

There's a reason why companies hire people with a huge bullet point in their job description "Evangelizing" and it has nothing to do with the Church, and in some cases it's not always to Evangelize that companies products, sometimes it's to spread the word about adaptation of say a particular technology, then the selling of that specific companies product comes later.

If MU goes SEC they along with A&M they are going to be all over Texas, with schools like LSU evangelizing the SEC.

TCU doesn't shift any more power to Texas than what's already there.

Limestone, "Evangelizing" is also used in the corporate world, I just saw a job description the other day for a well known technology company, and that was like bullet point number 2, Evangelizing the product to potential partners.

on the TCU decision. They suck at basketball and will get better by being in the XII but be sure you read better as winning 1 or maybe 2 conference games in a few years. They are good at baseball which obviously means nothing other than a little exposure during the CWS and a great time in Omaha. Tickets to the Cats games in FW will be cheap and those games should have a strong

showing. Billy Bobs is a pretty good time and there is no doubting there is some talent in the TCU female fan base.

Well that's comforting. Oh wait, the power that "is already there" is somewhat problematic. See mass exodus from Big XII. See Dallas politics. See Dan Beebe reign of indifference. See League offices moving to Dallas....

As long as TX power dominates this conference, schools "with options" will continue to look elsewhere. This includes OU and OSU.

I'd like to address this problem by balancing out southern dominance with some new voices in the North.
