This is all reminding me that while I like to give ku fans a hard time it's all part of the instate rivalry thing.  That said, I really, really don't like mu or their fans at all.  

Of course BITB has to completely eff up the trend of the day with the absurd "Racin Boys" segment on a Friday afternoon in the fall . . . idiotic programming.

I respectfully disagree, Sir Dax.  That honor definitely goes to ku.  

Thing is, KU has actually accomplished something in both football and basketball, Mizzou has that one time they made the CCG.

Missouri has never even made a Final Four for Christ Sakes, or won much less played for a National Championship in any major sport in their entire history.

Their entire appeal is soley based on the attractive tv markets in their territory.  Nothing more.  Decent school, a lot of tv's.  

You put Ku or K-State in Columbia and we'd be having the same discussion.

All nine aren't going to sign away their entire future to this conference on day one of possibly non-conference armageddon though.  If we start at the 6 year commitment we can work from there.

rather see it go through the fox deal.  seems like someone *cough texas cough* could give the conference a 2 year notice in 2014 that it's leaving for the big 10 (whose deal comes up in 2016) and then mosey on out of the conference and into a blockbuster big 10 deal.   6 years seems like a rather odd number.
