If we got Louisville and the couch burners, anyone heard anything about what ND would to with it's non-football sports?  Chip's saying that BYU may not be warm to joining a "volatile" B12.  I'd rather get BYU as FB only and ND in everything else.  BYU might be much more willing to join at FB only.  If the Big12 falls apart in 5 years they are right back to where they are now, only with a lot more money.

Imagine the B12 bball tourney in KC with ND, WVU, and Louisville replacing A&M, Nub, and CU.

Nothing says desperate and small time like having partial members.  I would hope the conference doesn't BSFS east side erector set the membership.  Who gives a flying eff about NDs basketball and soccer programs?

On a similar note I hope the new Big 12 puts pressure on KSU and ISU to bolster their embarrassing Olympic sports offerings.

i think it's more than reasonable that ou found out texas was talking to other conferences and somewhat shopping their longhorn network around and finally said enough is enough and that's when boren said what he said and then we had what ensued.

They already gave themselves a perfect out to not accept A&M. Not every Big 12 school waived their right to sue, so the SEC could easily just tell A&M that they are not going to be admitted.
