The thing that no one seems to be mentioning is that this is probably the SEC's get out of jail free card.  They made the move to get A&M thinking expansion would be easy, and when they started looking at who #14 was, and they were staring down the barrel of admitting MU and WVU as their best options, they needed a way to hit the breaks on this without looking like a bad guy.

Enter this strange clause that had no prayer of being met, and boom, sorry A&M, we tried, but we didn't want to be sued.  We'll send you a Christmas card.  kthxbi.

The key verbiage in Brown's report was so long as each individual member of the Big 12 waives its right to litigation against the SEC.

All Baylor has to do is say, "No, we may litigate," and this all falls apart.

no way.  no f'ing way.  this is too good to be true.  Like, no one else is reporting this side of the story. Not the Houston Chronicle, not the San Antonio Express, not the Forth Worth Star Telegram....no one but Chip has this?  No f'ing way.  

edit:  I guess this dude admits that Baylor would be the hurdle.  I think he's with TexasAgs or some Aggie site.   but says A&M will get past it.  I would think this would only stall the inevitable.

Just got done creeping around the Phog. I thought we were getting a little bit ahead of ourselves thinking that we have a Big East invite locked up, but it's nothing compared to those idiots. They are acting like KU to the Pac-16 is a certainty.
