you would think so.  I have no idea what their deal with the BE is.  you have to think they would take pretty much anything we offered them though.  and, at that point, the rest of the TX schools would prolly quit throwing their tantrums over the thought of adding TCU.

Yes, from a geographic standpoint Clemson makes the most sense, albeit VT isn't far behind given its proximity to Tenn and Kentucky.   But Clemson has the largest on campus stadium in the ACC and of course is within easy driving distance of Tenn, South Carolina, and Georgia.    Albeit I could see ESPN pushing VT because ESPN has some sort of weird  /fixation with VT.

Read elsewhere that:  Notre Dame's NBC deal and the Big 12's Tier I deal expires at about the same time.  ND's NBC Deal pays $15 million, but the kicker is that half of that gets divided up amongst the visiting teams.   ND could become a part of the Big 12, enhance the Tier 1 deal and likely get a pay out of $20 million plus every year from the conference and then go out and start up their own ND network and make a nice slice of jack on top of the conference pay out. 

As of now Conferences like the Big 10 do not allow separate networks and as long as the Big 10 network is around likely never will. 

As CC pointed out, as of right now the networks have indicated that they're not all that down with the "super conferences" and while I am not an expert I wonder if they might view the "super conferences" as being like the networks bidding on the NFL.
