The fact that 20% of the country is Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) enough to think the league will exist with the same 10 teams 14 years from now is what boggles the mind.

Nu is a big research university and the prestige (academically) associated with the Big 10 would be great. Only the SEC is lower than the Big 12 academically. i just talked to a good friend from highschool that i haven't talked to in over five years. he's been teaching at nebraska for the last three and told me that the AAU thing is a huge deal for him and his dept. and that getting AAU taken away would absolutely crush them. he also didn't seem worried about losing AAU status or know what bsac is hinting at though, so who knows. bsac has never been wrong before, but i guess there's a first time for everything.

Same. One of the younger guys in my office is a NU alum, summa cum laude. Said nothing to see here. Said losing AAu status would basically invalidate a lot of the academic claims NU makes but that there is no way that would ever happen. I don't even think that is what BSAC was saying. He may have been trying to post in the BBBS thread and hit some turbulence.
