My God, guys. Hell of a pity party going on in here.
Also, can you imagine how LOL this will be if the remaining Big 12 schools stay together, add a couple more of the largest G5 schools, and somehow stay a "Power 5"?!?! LOL. Even if every rolls their eyes every time they say, it would be so amazing.
Take the 7 central leftovers (later WVU), join the PAC w/ BYU. Re-Brand as something like the Southwestern Conference or some crap?East - ISU, KU, KSU, OSU, BU, TCU, TTU, CU, UofU, BYUWest - UofA, ASU, USC, UCLA, Stanford, Cal, UO, OSU, WSU, WU

I still watch some big games but following college basketball and football has become so casual to me. This stuff is pretty trashy, and is only going to further diminish me following the NCAA in any meaningful way. I probably can't name most Big XII coaches at this point. Kind of like D-Lew, one of the things that was most fun about following K-State was our regional rivalries, and the history behind them. I just don't have much emotional energy towards caring like I once did, and I'm ok with that. We look at schools like Nebraska or most SEC schools and see how unhealthy the mantel of football is at those places. If K-State culture looks more like a MWC school than an SEC school in 10 years, that's great. I think its for the best.Well put. This is where I am now as well.

I think ku to Big 10 is going to happen. Not because the big 10 wants them, they will hold their nose and take them because they can't let the SEC get the pub

As much as I want MW roadies, the more I think about it it seems like the 8 staying together & adding Houston, Cincy, UCF & USF seems the most logical. I really don’t like 14, but I also think BYU & Boise beg as well. I don’t know what I’d do if I were the remaining Big12 members. I wish there were a way we could take KU, ISU, Tech, OSU & TCU to build a central/mountain time zone conference with BYU, Colorado State, Boise and a few more.
