stormnut is a complete Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!).
OU has a large fanbase outside of Oklahoma. Do you normally live with your head buried in the sand? Whether we like it or not, (and i don't), OU is one of the "elite" programs that has a national fanbase.
Not showing me any numbers. Because its not as big as you think.
I don't care enough to spend any time looking up numbers. Travel outside of Kansas sometime and you'll learn a few things with your eyes, though.

K-State enrollment = 23,332
Oklahoma Enrollment = 26,219
Texas enrollment = 50,000
So OU has 3000 more on campus than K-State. Yes they may have a long sustained tradition but alumni are what generate your fan base out side your state. The numbers are not there.
You're completely ignoring the fact that a large chunk of OU fans are NOT alumni. So you can show enrollment numbers all you want, but that means jack for this discussion. Teams like OU gather up large amounts of non-attending fans (bandwagon, t-shirt fans, whatever you'd like to call them) and THOSE people are huge for ratings.
I owned you on this. Just take it like a man.
you don't have attendance numbers like this without tshirt fans
